Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Grasshopper account and all of its data. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

From the app

1. Open Grasshopper and go to Settings.
2. Open Account.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

If you have uninstalled the app

If you can no longer sign in, email support@getgrasshopper.app from the address linked to your account and ask us to delete it. We will action the request within 30 days.

What is removed

Deleting your account removes your profile, your library and shelves, your reviews and ratings, your tags, your loan records, your friend connections, and your borrow requests. Books in the shared catalogue are not personal to you and remain for other readers. Deletion cannot be reversed and your account cannot be recovered afterwards.
